Supporting Norwich City Council Residential Leaseholders
The Norwich Leaseholders Association is a voluntary organisation, run by leaseholders for leaseholders, that offers free support to those who hold a residential lease with Norwich City Council. We are not part of Norwich City Council however, we seek to liaise closely with the Council to achieve a fair deal for all leaseholders.
Issues that we have supported leaseholders with previously include:
- Failure to carry out repairs
- High cost of repairs
- Standard of workmanship
- Poor and/or inadequate communications with Home Ownership Team Officers.
- Inadequate Consultation
- A diverse range of technical issues. (recent issues include asbestos, FDS30 fire doors, DDA compliance, communal area repairs)
- The ‘opting out’ option.
